Over the next several weeks, Michigan’s stay-at-home regulations are anticipated to loosen with business offices starting to reopen. In addition to being thoughtful about employee safety and wellness, we have learned many lessons over the past two months in leading during a crisis and managing a virtual workplace. It’s important for startups and growth companies to consider these short- and long-term changes to our region and figure out how to pivot, recover, and grow.
People are any organization’s greatest asset and leveraging this talent brings new challenges when operating primarily in a virtual world. This conversation hopes to instill realistic but optimistic confidence in our region’s startup ecosystem, share opportunities to access high-quality talent, and promote tangible best practices for onboarding talent during the pandemic.
